This week we were able to learn about rubrics, collaborative learning, lesson plans, and creating our service-learning project. Today we had the chance to create a lesson plan that followed a rubric grading system for students to follow. It was very helpful to break down the elements and see where students are able to grasp the content. Being able to construct a project for student community service activities also is helpful for our future classrooms since we can present it to them and recreate it in our own way. There were many very interesting topics that covered a lot of detail. They also aligned with the grade level standards which reflected the time that they put into their project. There were a lot of resources provided during these presentations which can be helpful for us when we are looking for some. Overall it was a class period of talking to each other and sharing constructive feedback to our classmates which will benefit them if they missed out a part in their project.
