Writing within ELA

Writing in ELA can probably be the easiest subject to write in. Because students are writing in preparation for high stake testing, they are not emphasizing on problem solving or engaged in writing projects. Some examples I thought were interesting in exemplary practices for writing in ELA is having students provide effective peer feedback. I think this will allow students to really expand on some of the errors and progress as they see what other students writing. As they are giving feedback, it will allow students to reflect on their writing assignment and have them thinking about how they can make edits to their writing.
