Learning Log 12

Watching everyone's Service Learning Projects made me so excited to become a teacher and implement most of these ideas into my own classroom. A community garden that envelopes science and ELA standards, homelessness around our community with civics and social studies, the importance of Veterans Day, and graffiti removal which is especially prevalent. Watching people explain their projects with sample assignments, different ways to assess learning, their project libraries, etc. has probably helped me the most over the last two semesters. I am finally getting a grasp at what lesson plans look like, how to write targets, and identifying the correct standard for my lesson. This Service Learning Project has been a great assignment to better understand teaching in general.
