Hi everyone,

My name is Liliana Sanchez, but I like to go by Lily. I enjoy spending time with my family, taking hikes and creating memories. I received my AA from YVCC in 2020 and took a break from school due to the pandemic, so it been a crazy roller coaster trying to adapt returning school and learning the Heritage website platform. I currently work for the Sunnyside School District in the MSDRS program. I assist migrant credit deficient students at a state level. I process enrollment, send out materials and provide support to the district. As much as I love my job, I feel like it doesn’t fulfill a part in me. During the pandemic I became my daughter’s teacher, and it was the most difficult but rewarding experience I could have gone through. This made me realize the passion I have to become a teacher.
